The far right abuses the voting here in both directions. Last time I checked -- which admittedly was a few months ago -- it had reached proportions so absurd that nobody on the left could even comment without being hit by targeted downvoting. Internet disinformation has become an extremely large angle for businesses over the last several years. They saw the internet steering left and they decided to act.

I also look at who's posting.The same names comes up. I'm all for liberty of speech but getting downvoted for being annoying is deserved.

I read every comment in a thread. I disagree it is being "silenced". The comment is still there for all to read. If someone is too lazy to click and read it that's their fault.

Only if I want to follow the discussion that is occuring. Usually the person being silenced deserves it and I'd probably add to the downvotes if I had the CCP

I check them to see what triggered the circlejerkers into brigading someone. Often funny to see what makes people buttmad for no reason.

Then I end up reading my own comments.
