“It’s obsolete, first because it was designed many, many years ago,” Trump was quoted as saying about the trans-Atlantic military alliance. “Secondly, countries aren’t paying what they should” and NATO “didn’t deal with terrorism.”
Trump understands:
If Europe wants to reside under the protection we provide, yet criticize every foreign policy decision we make, let them pay to garrison their own defense.
Europe has allowed the Moors to overrun their continent, and will cry for our help 15 years from now. Then, they will complain about how we help and demand our soldiers be tried for war crimes. Why bother?
Furthermore, we don't need protection against the Russians. We are the only army that coud engage them successfully in battle. We can form our own peace with Russia, because we are strong. We do not need NATO to do this.
Fuck NATO.

The United States could fucking occupy the EU easily, and those loser cucks won't put up a fight.

I dunno, they'd probably break a few lump-wristed numale arms at you and wave angry rainbow signs but ultimately they'd be cucked like bitches.

If NATO remains obsessed after the Cold War with "Soviet"Russian imperial ambitions then, yes, it is obsolete. If it turns its attention to defending the Free World from Islam and secondarily, Chinese aggression, then it will find a legitimate reason to exist.
I am not saying that NATO should not have a ready defense against a Russian aggression. But NATO has a more pressing concern with a 3million strong Islamic invasion force occupying Europe under its very nose.

NATO hasn't done fuck with China who is aggressively expanding its territorial claims.

So it seems everyone here considers NATO outdated as well, my reserve is that General Mattis stated
The retired Marine Corps general, according to a Politico report, labeled NATO so central to the U.S.’s defensive posture that, if it did not today exist it would need to be built.
I'm inclined to believe Mattis is more aware of geopolitics and more knowledgeable on military capabilities as well.

That doesn't mean it's current state isn't obsolete.

Trump doesn't understand trade. We may pay a heavy price for his ignorance.

He thinks that for a Mexican to gain a job, an American must lose one. Any economist will tell you it doesn't work that way. But that's fine; continue reasoning with your id, just like The Donald.

what are Trump's international trade credentials? I haven't heard anything beyond the fact at he is against our current trade agreements. I agree with that sentiment, I just don't believe that the Donald is actually on the same page as me there. I'd love to see some links to some evidence that he is actually against modern 'free' trade. I have seen a 'Make America Great Again' hat that has the Made in China tag on it so i'm obviously a bit skeptical

It's because some sites rely on your browser to fill in the background color instead of setting one themselves.
Prolly just switch over to jpg since there's no transparency there.
