There are many figuratives

But here is the literal answer.

A nazi is a memeber of the German based socialist workers party. Defunct in the 40s. The socialists workers party also favored German born whites as opposed to sand niggers.

Today it means, "not a liberal"

Anyone who states the obvious fact that jews are 3 standard deviation over-represented in all the critical control positions in western civilization.

Where I live we use "nazi" as a substitute for "strict" or "committed":

"Peter is really nazi when it comes to paying him back on time" or "the coach is so nazi about showing up on time"

There's sociology crap going on and I'm not sure of the exact term but basically "Nazi" has turned into an "I win!" switch for the left. Ad Hominem attack maybe?

They accuse someone of being a Nazi or a Racist and they don't have to make a counter argument or defend their stance. It immediately shuts down the discussion. A huge rhetoric no-no that would instantly get called out in even a high school level debate club if those still existed.

For the right it might be calling someone a SJW but using Nazi is far more intentionally cruel and insidious.

They use it a LOT now because modern social media and news 24-7 has showed the world at large that the world isn't black and white but very grey and uncomfortable. It's easier to shut down all arguments, not deal with them and just claim you're morally superior than to admit you need to maybe not let people into your country or back a shitty ruler because he keeps even shittier rulers in check.
