Just figured it out, apparently if there are no posts for a certain amount of time the sub will be deleted.

Heres where I randomly found the answer just minutes after posting.

Yeah. There's this in the FAQ:
Can I register subverses and not use them?

We have multiple automated mechanisms in place which purge unused subverses. As soon as you register your subverse, you should submit at least one post and edit the sidebar. If you abandon your subverse, you may lose it if someone else requests to take it over.

I think its a squatter deterrent, so if you create one but there are no posts in a specific amount of time it will be deleted. Its /v/guam, but Im sure ill be alone there for quite a while. Check out /v/itap though, we need more people there!

I know there where some issues a few days ago when the site got shutdown and had to move, some subverses where lost. I would just recreate it....everything should be fine now.

Edit the stylesheet and sidebar text a bit. That should count.
