So, in your mind, rape, mass murder, child molestation... these things can somehow be spun as good?

Grow up.

You can see and explore how a narcissist could do these things and still think that s/he's misunderstood and they're the hero of their own story.

Also we all want to treat these people like entities of pure evil but you'll have a hard time reconciling that hitler loved his cat or dog or whatever or that a child molester goes home and takes care of his aging mom or whatever.

Does it condone their actions? No. Can it make us question why people do this and how can it be that these people that do horrible things aren't entities of pure evil that go around kicking puppies and setting hospitals on fire all the time.

So, what you're saying is arson that kills some newly weds is somehow less egregious if the person turns around and helps an old lady across the street? That's very liberal of you.

If a we as a society need a Sundance film to show us how to objectively question the motives of dangerous criminals, we have bigger problems. So I say again, grow up.

I don't think spun as good, but, the main character who is bad is the protagonist, aka the person who we want to win in some way in the end.

I want different of opinions. Although I know those things are evil, I would like to hear different of opinions on the topics. Not to change my mind, but I am just intrigued. I am tired of everyone having the same opinion on topics especially in film. I am interested in psychology and I don't want my research to be limited to a bubble. But I see where you're coming from.

Check out Hellstorm. It's a documentary more from the perspective of Germany during WWII. It will definitely make you think differently about the war, or at the very least question what you have learned about it.
