or just having ping pong for "entertainment" and "play" - I believe it is significant too

Large tables can be useful for things other than playing ping pong on.

Not a single one of the imgur pics is visible!

You just proved this couldn't be the space. There in black and white is the fact the space JA bought has a basement. Yet if you open the album, the first picture shows there's no basement in the room they're digging. There's a cement floor and underneath dirt, not an excavated basement. Case closed.

@quantokitty - no because 3518 is the house, not the warehouse behind it. The house must be the one with the basement. Unless the warehouse has another chamber down under it or something. There could still be a chamber under that level those guys were digging up. Or a side chamber off at a part of the building you cant see. My guess would be a tunnel from the house to the warehouse, and a cell area in the basement of the house.

The photos were only taken from one side of the room so you have no idea what is on the other. Also, my house only has a cellar that fits under one room, not the whole house size, so that could also be the case there.

Pegasus is shady as fuck. Why would Alefantis own a museum that doesnt advertise to the public in any way shape or form? It has no sign. No ads. No public phone number. No billboard or sign post. Nothing identifying it at all

Museum = nonprofit or tax benefits, and just a cover name for LE, and for referencing to friends/clients.
In one of the comments there is a story about the redevelopment effort for the "trolly park". It was headed by a LGTB (whatever!) group. Alefantis was involved. It hit me "maybe he got funding to remodel his garage in back". That's what I think happened. He told them it was going to be a "museum" as a plausible cause for funding a remodel. Then he put in the "trolly floor" in his office.
So you see, he probably never had any intention of actually opening a museum, just getting it funded. His buddies down at the redevelopment committee probably knew it all along. So it was listed on Google, then it was pulled.
So he got whatever he wanted and his friends that built it got paid with somebody else' money. Pretty slick, eh? Anyway, that's a theory.
Now if someone could stroll by there and confirm or deny that the garage ("museum") has an access to the blue house in front, it would help with my other theory about the house.

There was a past earlier today about how the property had changed hands when alefantis acquired pegasus, but it was deleted.
The papers indicated that there wee three distinct lots in the transaction: 2833 0026, 2833 0027, and 2833 0817...which should all be on the same block between 13th and 11th, otis and monroe. the smallest-numbered parcel currently listed in the gis for that block is 0071...0026 and 0027 do not appear to exist at this time. Perhaps the 'wings' were 26 and 27, combined to 817, but might be worth remembering.

Is it possible you could look into this further?
[–] bolus 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
Yes. I can still show sources for the the lots, too. Will update later today.
