I admit that when people start complaining about 'obvious SRS alts' and things like that, I don't really get it. I was on Red for ages but 99% lurker. And I tend to keep to the simplest explanation that whomever cares enough to constantly tend to PG probably legit cares about it.

As for Crensch, I imagine he was brought on because they needed someone with a longer history on Voat to sort of keep an eye on things/lend legitimacy to the influx of mods. I also assume he got involved in a similar way to me, essentially by complaining and then being asked to help instead of just bitching about it. Personally, I don't often personally agree with him or his application of logic

I see where you're coming from. But:

  1. People who 'want it to stop' being the ones in charge adds another layer of complexity

  2. The interactions I've had with the mods lend credence to me that although they may occasionally be misguided, they seem relatively earnest.
