I don't disagree in principle, but with the shift towards SystemD, and now this, I can't help but be wary of anything Debian based in the future. Part of Linux is the ability to control your system to the very foundation of the OS. Shipping an OS that Auto Updates reeks too much of Microsoft and Apple, for my tastes

Its a included, but disabled by default, feature for Debian cloud images. I think its a good step so more instances are kept up to date
