It's definitely apparent she loves what she does, but a good conductor should be similarly animated. The conductor is there for more than just keeping time for the orchestra. They have to convey to them not only the tempo but how to play.

From the looks of it, she's conducting a "fun" piece of music. It seems bouncy like it's for the score in a scene in a Pixar movie where children are playing in the mud, then when she drops down, she shushes the music because mom just caught them getting their new clothes dirty.

To those who have never been part of an ensemble, it doesn't seem like the conductor does very much, but there's way more to it than an outsider might initially assume.
