I like to draw beautiful things, so I never draw fat people. :)

Ah yes. Remember that time a Steven Universe artist drew some of the characters not as fat as they appear in the show and was bullied to the point of near suicide?

Any artist who only draws thin characters/people and refuses to draw larger bodies, needs to be reported for hate speech. Cause that’s literally what it is. Hate speech. It perpetrates the idea that only thinner bodies are beautiful and attractive. Thus, worthy of being drawn. An that can send a very bad message to those suffering from body issues. We as a society, have a responsibility to make sure everyone feels safe and welcome.

What is it with these tumbrinas and taing the meaning out of words? Hate speech is a real thing and is worth talking about and discouraging. Expressing oneself through art is not hate speech. Art is subjective. Someone could be drawing thin bodies to demonize them and a viewer could interpret it as glorifying them. Posts like this are just attempting to quiet dissenters and promote monoculture.
