He wasn't humiliated. The US is a constitutional republic not a democracy where the tyranny of the majority reigns supreme. The only valid criticisms that Tucker Carlson seemed to have were that going against the voters in an elector's state would cause tumult and electors are chosen by (two) parties who have gamed most parts of the system. Yet, the electors can vote however they want as long as they are willing to upset their state and party.

Certain states have laws against changing your vote, but I don't believe any of them have been tested in court.

Apparently some people don't care if their actions will cause the world to burn. Rofl!! Will these idiots really pursue a change to election results because they feel a moral obligation not to vote the way their constituents have requested them to vote?! All hell will break loose. Hmmm. On second thought maybe that is truly their goal.
