When they banned the St. George's Cross flag, we knew things were headed for trouble this way.

I live in the US. I used to work for a very old American company. After 9/11 we all got an email that American flags were banned from our offices out of fear it would "offend" the Muslims that worked there. Guess what I went and bought during lunch? Hung my new American Flag proudly alongside this picture:

Being proud of your country or your heritage is natural and expected. Anybody that is in YOUR country that doesn't like YOUR flag can go fuck themselves.

London Shopkeeper Branded Racist For Selling British-Themed Souvenirs | Heat Street

'A London shop owner claims he has been accused of racism for selling items dedicated to celebrating Britain. '

'But since opening he says he has received scores of complaints and been forced to remove a Union Jack flag from the window. '

'Chris Ostwald opened his store – called Really British – last month in the north London suburb of Muswell Hill. '

'He sells a variety of goods including souvenirs painted with the Union Jack, London Underground tea towels, gifts associated with the Royal Family and memorabilia dedicated to 1960s pop group The Kinks, who come from the area. '

'One member of staff – who is Spanish – has resigned because she was so upset by the criticism. '
