The washingtonian was also busted for having a reort ready hours before the event. I'll try to dig up the twitter post in which the article author was asked if she can explain this - to which she replied "No"

I'd assume that's going to be the explanation for what OP posted, and I did see this 'live', but that's my 2 cents.

https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1462098 - Wikipedia being updated a few minutes before a cited article was published. I didn't really validate this, but, this occured at the same time as the Washingtonian article happened and sort of got brushed away.
