Roberta’s, Popular Brooklyn Restaurant, Is Pulled Into ‘Pizzagate’ Hoax - The New York Times

'A Voat user wrote of finding a reference to Roberta’s — a popular pizza restaurant in the Bushwick section — in an email from Mrs. '

'A man called to complain about the restaurant’s connection to the Pizzagate hoax after reading about it online, the police said. '

'Rumors linking a well-known Brooklyn restaurant to the so-called Pizzagate hoax seem to have emerged in posts on an online message board late last month. '

'One Voat user, saying the restaurant looked pretty great, wrote: “Again, not a shill. '

'The YouTube video linking Roberta’s to the hoax had been watched more than 10,000 times before being taken down on Wednesday. '

I don't think it was the logo, but that the hipster/arty pizza vibe felt similar to Comet Ping Pong. And I did see references to it on VOAT.

I've eaten here once, maybe twice, years ago when I lived closer to that neighborhood if you have any questions.

My uncle used to live over in midtown so I'd visit him a lot during breaks, been there a few times as well. I guess maybe that's why I was so surprised to see an article about it. They did mention something about the pizza paddle in the article. Do you think that these MSM outlets are just grabbing claims from 1 or 2 people and writing an article to discredit pizzagate? To be honest, theres so many pizza shops being linked to this I've kinda lost track, but I'd imagine that Roberta's wasn't such a big topic of discussion.

This is Roberta's in Bushwick Brooklyn, not midtown. No. People have genuinely started to think pizza by itself is suspect
