I remember back when XP first came out they were talking about how it was going to be all NTFS or some shit.

There's some cool shit you can do in PowerShell, but I'm never learning it lol. I'll miss cmd. Not as good as bash but it gets the job done

I'm saying I'm not going to learn the ridiculous python-like stuff PowerShell has

What's the matter, you don't want to make an alias to do something in a single character?

Meh... I'll be over here with my bash shell, gnomes and penguins.

I remember creating custom boot floppies that would boot my Windows 95 PC into pure DOS mode with the necessary drivers to play X-Wing VS TIE Fighter and other games, so I could maximize my hardware use.
I even had custom DOS booting for "tools CDs" I created to boot a troubled Windows PC into DOS and run utilities, reimage it, and even install Windows 9x.
Ah DOS. I'll never forget the fun we had.
These days, I play in bash under OS X, but I'll never forget cutting my "command prompt" teeth with DOS.

What a shit article. Author doesn't know the difference between MS DOS and the command prompt.
