Not condemning or condoning, just stating facts. I find this topic interesting because I used to be a skinny fat myself at a BMI of 22.7 (was 145lbs at 5'7"). It's possible to have a normal BMI but have a high body fat % that can put you at a similar health risk as if you were in the overweight or even obese category. There's an interesting study about it here. This scatter plot from the same study shows that there are several women with a normal or overweight BMI who have a body fat % that is considered obese. The study even suggests that the cutoff for obese BMI should be changed to 24 in women and 28 in men.

TL;DR: it's possible to have a normal BMI but have a body fat % that would put you in the overweight or obese category
