This is going to sound weird, but: falling up. When laying on my back on the grass and looking up at the sky, I get terrified. Oddly I have the same fear of heights when I'm high up inside tall open structures (e.g. walking around the whisper gallery of St Paul's in London), but no fear of heights when I'm outside of those structures (i.e. looking down from the roof).

I'm not sure if fictional creatures count, but I'm totally afraid of the flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz. I have been since I was a child. I've never seen that movie all the way through. When those monkeys hit the screen, I'm done. By the way, I'm 50 now.

In Kerbal Space Program, the large gas giant planets. For some reason, when I get close to them, their relative size freaks me out.

Having to face this thing everyday I am always scared my hips will get crushed, I am hoping to maintain that this is a harmless thing.

Pretty sure they have a sensor to prevent that if it makes you feel any better.
If not, do you remember that clip of a politician using a Myki machine and how it just brown off? I assume these things are just as breakable and would snap off or break before causing any serious damage.
