Normally I would agree with you until I looked at the groups that Kelloggs has donated money to. I love several of their cereals but I'm done with them for the time being.

When someone goes to war with you, do you just sit around and do nothing? These attacks from the left continue to pile on. Something has to be done. I'm a person who has been at the receiving end of all sorts of nasty shit (violence, theft, fraud). And the only way you can get back to having a peaceful life is to show that you won't take it sitting down. Someone slaps you, you make sure that they regret it.

Kelloggs: Nasty company, nasty product.

Sadly I can name four cereals of theirs that my family eats. I can cut most of it out except Rice Krispies, my very young nephew loves them & they're one of the few things he'll eat.

You people are too easily misled by bullshit. Compared to similar stocks, most took a dip this week

Actually, if you read the linked article at the New York Post, it says that Kelloggs price is also affected by another scandal involving accusations from Amnesty International. The notion that these things would have no affect whatsoever on investors is ludicrous. I honestly think that Kelloggs thought their announcement about Brietbart would be good for business. And if they had been right, we should be seeing a higher stock price. So therefore, the absence of any signs of success validates this article at least partially. Clearly Kellogg's plan has gotten off to a rocky start.

The "boycott" won't last more than a few days or weeks. Will barely be a blip in their revenue. You really think that of the hundreds of millions of consumers that they're going to stop buying their Frosted Flakes and Pringles because they stopped advertising on Brietbart? Do you really think the mother buying for their kids are going to stop buying their Apple Jacks and Pop Tarts and have to explain that they are depriving their children of what they really like because of politics? Really? Like people in Asia, Europe, and other markets are going to give a fuck.
The child-labor will blow over soon enough as well. Probably a bigger factor in their price drop than some stupid boycott by a right-wing nutter blog. I'm guessing this isn't a widespread practice that keeps the cost of production of all their products artificially low. They'll weed it out, and it will pass in days to weeks. Again, average consumer isn't going to give a shit.
I'd be surprised if profits from these two incidents is affected by this more than 5% for a single quarter. And that is being extremely pessimisti8c.

You are right conclusive data is not in yet so I have to give you that. We will see just look at Macy's, Target, and the NFL. For some reason when the political right decides to boycott they mean it and they stick to it. The political right when it does activate (which they are slow to do) tends to be more that slacktivism and have a bit more follow through.
The thing you have to remember is the victories of the political right do not get front page coverage the political left can't report on it and let the political right know there true power as people power movement. For example look at the NFL and all the hemming and hawing over the ratings and them being unwilling to discuss the elephant in the room.
I do know this house hold will not be making rice crispy treat for this Christmas season and I know I am not the only one.

hahahaha ok sure. NFL ratings have been recovering post election. Up year over year for thanksgiving. Thanksgiving game was most watched tv show this year behind game 7. Target stock is doing just fine. Best place to shop now that the idiots are gone.
It looks more like Macy's stock corrected along with it's rivals who saw a downturn in price at the same time. On a five-year average, Macy's is still outperforming its rivals.
But I am not surprised you idiots can't be bothered to do any kind of critical thinking and just believe whatever the right wing nutjobs tell you. Jesus fucking Christ do you homework.

No more Kelloggs products for me.
I much prefer the right to freedom of speech.

I made Kelloggs stocks drop by choosing not to purchase their crappy products. Who Is Breitbart?
