You don't need to participate in those subverses, you can make and promote your own or find somewhere else that you feel comfortable with. This might come as a shock but it really doesn't matter if a moderator isn't running a subverse the way you want.
No one here is required to take your feelings or desires onboard. Do you even know how reddit became such a fucked up place? It started with emotional appeals, a small minority of users felt it was their right to remove anyone with opinions and content they didnt like in communities they were not a part of using emotional appeals like "fatty cries when fatty is called fatty" or "my ovaries mean I need special attention" and best of all "that is just offensive to X minority" because that is what authoritarians do, wait and see. It hasn't quite happened yet but when it does they will start trying to do that kind of appeal here and use baited comments and article submissions to put pressure on Voat as a company to "filter" content and users based on emotional nonsense.
Let those who want a second Reddit try and turn Voat into Reddit, they will either adjust to how things are done here or create utterly insignificant fiefdoms and toil endlessly trying to exert the slightest bit of control over narratives, communities, and the wider site in general. Subverse users and creators have a few tools at their disposal to rid themselves of jackasses and restart in another subverse whenever they want.
p.s. this kind of stuff will only stop if Voat is made read only.

3 paragraphs of "blah blah blah" when you could have just simply said "I support censorship"

Okay if you say so, I support censorship because I think people who run a subverse should run it their own way even if its into the ground. Of course the users of that community are an absolutely 100% captive audience obliged to stay no matter what. Its not like a massive proportion of voats user base aren't here because they had to stay on Reddit when mods and admins started fucking with users or anything.
