Some people believe it's because of the "massive amount of fake news that influenced the election" which is funny, because there is a massive amount of fake news every election... this time isn't "special".
The special thing about this election is that the MSM has been made a mockery of. They were wrong at every turn, on nearly every topic. People have begun distrusting the MSM - and the MSM can't have that! So the NYT, WaPo, Slate, and other trashrags have begun peddling a new narrative: all this other news is 'fake'!

"Fake news" wasn't a problem PRIOR to the election, during the election, or when it was "influencing" the election. It only became a problem with MSM realized people were no longer going to them for news.
I'd like to hear other voaters' thoughts on this. Because the Google Trend, to me, is telling...
