More sauce...what the actual fuck? Mormons do not adopt black children. In fact it wasn't until recently they even accepted black members!

As an exmo I am worried about a mormon connection. These would be the perfect blind facilitators. As boots on the ground they are naive and wouldn't even know what they were involved in. Mormonism has a weird way of normalizing sex abuse too, in the sense that it is a sin (same as premarital sex, booze, and coffee) and not even the worst there is.
edit: want to make clear I mean they would be a good honestly well meaning front (probably like some from the hilsby baptist group) that may not even be aware they are contributing to trafficking. Their earnest is a good cover. How many people need to be bad eggs to coordinate the trafficking- 1 or 2?

The FDLS engages in child bride marriages and child abuse. While this is not an indictment on all Mormons, but based on what I know about this particular cult (and I refer to all fear-based religions as mind control cults) I don't find it all too crazy that there would be a faction of Mormons involved. They do have and likely still practice a blood atonement practice, and the whole Mormons love Native Americans rhetoric makes me want to vomit. Considering their mass slaughter of Native Americans...and continual passive aggressive attempts to quash Native religious ceremonies.

Grew up Mormon. Long history of racism in church. 1978 was first time they gave black men priesthood authority.
However.
Mormons had an adoption program for Native Americans (and at one point, the current Mormon prophet said the kid's skins were getting lighter because they were adopted and being good Mormons. "The day of the Lamanites in nigh. For years they have been growing delightsome... The children in the home placement program in Utah are often lighter than their brothers and sisters in the hogans on the reservation..." (Kimball) - https://www.mormonquotes.com/Native_Americans
But, there are now many Mormon families who are adopting black children because they genuinely feel they can help orphaned children.
