Does anyone else think the article seems really exaggerated? It makes it sound like Google has an evil corporate agenda to destroy apps and "claw users back to search" to maximize profits, but all I got from it was that they acquired a small tech startup that was working on app/game streaming technology and that it could, theoretically, want to replace apps with this new system. I didn't see any source for these claims aside from The Information's report (however, I wasn't able to read the original report on account of being unwilling to register). Is there something I'm missing?
