Secessionists formally launch quest for California's independence - LA Times

'Members of the Yes California group protest at the state Capitol on Nov. 9. '

'The Yes California group has been around for more than two years, Evans said. '

'Qualifying ballot measures typically requires significant resources to pay signature gatherers, and Yes California doesn’t have major financial backing. '

' Yes California has tried and failed previously , and Silicon Valley venture capitalist Tim Draper was not able to get a proposal to split California into six states onto the 2016 ballot. '

'But similar proposals have dotted the state’s political landscape for years. '

This would be like kicking Spanish speaking Canadians out of the US politically speaking. California keeps Democrats competitive nationally.

If they did secede though it might provide the opening to kick out a bunch of the state's Democrats. That is Mexicans.

In any event anyone think illegal aliens, Hollywood celebrities, affluent coastal shitlibs, Silicon Valley nerds, San Francisco queers, and old hippies can manage a country?

The Americans can flee as refugees.

If they secede, I bet Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona eventually have a new illegal immigrant problem.
