I just love how they are bragging that Edge is more secure, when it wants to send your browsing data to Microsoft. In the US, there's this thing called the patriot Act. The government is fond of using it to skirt the fourth amendment at will, just ask Yahoo, who was scanning all emails for the NSA and FBI.
What do you think is going to happen with all that web browsing data that Microsoft is collecting?
(telephone rings)
"Hello Microsoft, this is your freedom-loving government speaking. we want you to query the database and provide us with a list of every person and applicable hardware IDs that visited the following websites last month. No, we don't have a warrant or grounds to be broadly demanding all of this data. We know you have it, though. You must comply and hand it over, or close up shop. And you're not allowed to tell anybody about this, either."
