Dieticians who are opposed to dieting ... right. I got through the whole things and the quote that stood out for me was,
The only time Zuercher believes nutrition therapists’ body weight may be an issue is if they’re practicing disordered eating behaviors, at which point she says it’s certainly an issue.
What if I told you being fat is a symptom of disordered eating? That's the whole point. A dietician's job is to advise on the best way to nourish yourself and that will inevitably lead to being a healthy weight because it's the natural, healthy state. It scares me that many of these lardbarges may have gotten into nutrition solely so they can spread their HAES bullshit with some assumed credibility. That would be concerning.

I have a facebook "friend" who is "studying to be a dietitian," and comments whenever mutuals post about their "eating healthy blahblah goals," about how they can always ask her for help or recipes and such. I'm awful at guessing weight, but she's at least 200 at 5'1"ish and blames her weight (and always schools people) on PCOS even though she shows no symptoms aside from just being fat.

Crabs in a bucket. If everyone fails, nobody fails. It's like when a test is graded by curve. If everyone turns in a blank page, everyone wins.
Although, I don't think hams are that clever.

https://voat.co/v/fatpeoplehate/1315604 read this if you think being a fat dietitian doesn't harm anyone.
this is why you shouldn't have fat dietitians. People who really struggle with healthy eating and nutrition need guidance from someone they can trust not a hypocritical landwhale who can't take their own advice.

What the fuck! You don't have fatasses around patients with that kind of EDs! How do they hire these people? They are a danger to the patients' well-being. I can't imagine what it would be to have to recover while having your greatest fear telling you what to eat.
Glad you went through that though.

The answer is no. Did you even have to ask? Do I ask a bum on the street for financial advice?
