This is my mother. I haven't been to my parent's home in 8 years, because they don't have room for me. My mother is an obese, alcoholic, compulsive shopping, hoarder. I'm worried that my father is on the verge of leaving her and then I will be forced to deal with her hoard (which takes up a house and an apartment) when she dies as I am an only child. She blames her inability to do anything on her multiple diagnoses which include fibromyalgia, arthritis, migraines, etc. She doesn't seem to understand that her actions are driving her already small family away. The obesity is bad enough, but her mental health is also very poor.

I remember this!! If anyone else doesn't watch the rest, she had tons of needles in her hoarde, and I believe she's the one who had a can of something in her kitchen that was just piles of roaches.

Yeah, she's diabetic and lost her sharps container so just started leaving her used needles wherever.
And yes, there was a soup can half full of roaches in the kitchen, where that poor girl had to cook. Also behind pictures on the walls and just generally everywhere.
Now I feel like I need to shower...

I remember seeing it years ago and wanting to go through my TV screen and just save everyone a lot of trouble by choking her.

Hoarders in general usually makes me heave, and don't think it's lost on me that it's quite often fat people who are the worst on there...
