You are not alone, but you can thank the MSM for fueling the disinformation campaign that filled everyones minds with BS. They still think Russia controlled this election and most of them never read the Wikileaks. They should really be mad about the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Shultz, Donna Brazille, Jon Podesta and Hillary Clinton...etc.

That's really unfortunate. I'm in something of a minority when it comes to my friends and our various political alignments as well; I'm a fairly staunch Libertarian and most of my friends are conservative, with one centrist and a solid socialist. The one great thing is that we don't take it personal when we talk politics with each other. We're all lucky in that regard.
Having to hide your affiliation like that is likely (I can't know for sure) akin to having to hide the fact you are gay or hiding that you secretly are a hardcore brony. It's something that's a part of you - not something that defines you, but it makes up part of what you are.
I'd like to recommend trying to broach the subject with one of your friends and trying to ask for understanding and tolerance. For being their watchwords, liberals tend to be fairly poor in exercising either. But maybe you can find a good time, or something of that nature. You can try explaining that you believe what you believe, and it has nothing to do with racism or whatever else. Obviously only you can decide who's a good potential candidate for something like this, when a good time would be, or if it's even feasible. I hope they are ultimately willing to not be so personal with it and put their feelings aside in favor of the friendship.
Best of luck, mate. I hope you find some kind of peace or common ground with them.

If these people would never talk to you because you have your own mind and think for yourself, then they aren't friends, they're a cult.
Run. Run very fast away from them.
Friends are people who stand by you and understand that everyone is entitled to an individual opinion and self-determination.
