Most of my friends know I did. Hell they did also and we're all cool about it. Though I don't hang out with ugly libtard females and betacucks

That's really unfortunate. I'm in something of a minority when it comes to my friends and our various political alignments as well; I'm a fairly staunch Libertarian and most of my friends are conservative, with one centrist and a solid socialist. The one great thing is that we don't take it personal when we talk politics with each other. We're all lucky in that regard.

Having to hide your affiliation like that is likely (I can't know for sure) akin to having to hide the fact you are gay or hiding that you secretly are a hardcore brony. It's something that's a part of you - not something that defines you, but it makes up part of what you are.

I'd like to recommend trying to broach the subject with one of your friends and trying to ask for understanding and tolerance. For being their watchwords, liberals tend to be fairly poor in exercising either. But maybe you can find a good time, or something of that nature. You can try explaining that you believe what you believe, and it has nothing to do with racism or whatever else. Obviously only you can decide who's a good potential candidate for something like this, when a good time would be, or if it's even feasible. I hope they are ultimately willing to not be so personal with it and put their feelings aside in favor of the friendship.

Best of luck, mate. I hope you find some kind of peace or common ground with them.

I too am having a lonely victory. I'm surrounded by people who are to lost in their own little worlds Who didn't vote but listened to attack ads so have an opinion. Who don't understand how our system works or how close we came to losing it.

I wonder exactly how many of these Clinton supporters actually voted for Trump, but wont admit it. Thats the benefit of voting secretly. You can claim what you like...

It was the same over here after Brexit. If everyone who claims to have voted Remain had actually done so, Brexit would never have happened.

Most of the people I know offline aren't crazy, but the majority of my online community is in apocalypse mode. (Most of my hobbies are things that liberals major in without thinking of how they'll make a living, and I'm on tumblr.) Online, under any other username, I voted for Jill Stein. Maybe I'll admit I lied about that once the dust has settled. I have people I can talk to about politics without being shunned, so I don't have a desperate need to shake things up by posting outside of Voat about how pleased I am with the election results. They're not the most valuable people in my life, but they're fun to talk to about whatever subject we initially connected over, and I can keep interactions contained to that subject.

All the people saying drop every friend you have because it doesn't effect them.

Do what you feel is right OP. Subtle redpills are effective. Use that brain. I've already calmed down some friends absolutely losing their god damn tendies.

My coworker told me that I'm responsible for any bad things that'll happen and the blood will "be on my hands" when he loses control.

Sure buddy.

People say retarded shit.

Then they are probably not your friend.

Exactly this. They are evil and want to hurt you. They just don't know it yet.
