Exactly the same thing happened with Brexit, the talking heads started off really happy and positive but the more the night went on the more they started to look a little scared and shocked.
Even last night I heard excuses like "of course Trump will get an early lead, rural places are easier to count the votes" as if rural folk are literally backwards slackjawed yokels compared to intelligent liberal city folk.

I think after losing North Carolina, the situation was pretty dire.

When florida flipped Red, that was fucking awesome. All the air was sucked out of every libtard news studio, all at once.

Completely agree with the contempt for the completely co-opted and corrupt media. I did have to take a little satisfaction in the shattering of their arrogance. Remember though, that we are talking about the "big game", and that though it certainly seems that this move was not in the playbook of a lot of the "usual players", that it certainly is in someone's playbook. Chances are good that they don't have any of our best interest in mind.
Remain skeptical - this is an opportunity to enhance accountability throughout the system. Don't blindly defend "your guy" the way that so many others have.

What I find funny is Jeff Bezos is already playing the supplicating Silicon Valley metrosexual -- he's "sorry" for some of the things the Bezos -- I mean Washington Post published during the race.
Yeah, sure thing Jeff -- you knoblicking cuckmaster.

If you look real close, you can see the public being primed for this election the past 8 years. Particularly the gendered aspect...

Exactly this. I hope that my countrymen will be as vigilant and critical of any of Trump's shortcomings as they would of Hillary's, Johnson's, or Bernie's - thanks to the Internet and our unprecedented freedom and ease of communication. The so called "fourth branch" no longer exists.

Your turn of phrase is so deliciously well-applied.
Have an upvoat.

Rivers of tears at Hillary's party. Podesta shows up and says "Go home, she's drunk". EPIC.

I find it HIGHLY ironic that a WOMAN had to send a MAN to make the announcement.
"I'm with HER"? -- More like she's hip-deep into some red wine, send in the bald clown.
