I don't understand why it needed an IUD inserted. Certainly not for contraception (teehee). Apparently an IUD has some sort of therapeutic use that I'm not aware of.?

my IUD took like 10 minutes. I wasn't on my period and I never gave birth, hurt like a bad cramp but I was well enough to continue with my day to day life... can't imagine needing to be sedated for it...
