They know deep down that they are fat and gross and that its bad for your health but they hide behind HAES to seem confident. Probably hoping they can fake confidence until they become confident. They are jealous of thin and normal sized people so that's why they hate us.
They don't want to lift a finger to change themselves, they'd rather the entire world and science change to fit them because they expect everything to orbit around their planetary bodies.

Actually, almost all of them will try everything except diet and exercise to try and lose weight since they really hate being fat. Then when they continue to fail, they hop on the HAES bandwagon to make themselves feel better about their failure. Of course, deep down, they still hate themselves for being fat and for failing to lose weight, and they also hate thin people out of jealousy.
If you offered a magic pill that allowed them to lose all the weight overnight, you can bet every single HAES proponent would take it in a heartbeat because they all secretly want to be thin and attractive, despite how vocal they might be about loving their bodies.

HAES is wrong, but so is thin = healthy. looks around at wine stains and chip crumbs, then looks down at self yep, still thin. But that doesn't mean what I ate and drank last night made me healthy. My liver might be fat and if I keep that crap up I might die early and fit neatly in a slim coffin.

Found the fatty (sympathizer).
In the context of HAES, thin is healthy because it is not associated with the comorbidities of obesity. There are health problems that non-hams have, but they don't have those problems because they are thin. IOW, saying "thin = healthy is wrong" is incorrect because a normal BMI is an indicator of health. Nobody here thinks "thin therefore time to do crack until my heart explodes, I'm healthy," and your implication that we don't understand that weight is not the only element of health is entirely missing the point of this sub- that we are vocally opposed to those who insist that weight is not an element of health.
TL;DR get out and take your ham-sympathizing with you.

If they didn't think there was something wrong with themselves, they wouldn't seek acceptance in the first place.

Healthy at Every Size only applies to fatties.. Skinny bitches need not apply because they're all starving themselves to death, duh. It's impossible to overeat because you're just listening to your body. /s

Well the problem is you're using actual intelligence and logic. Fatasses lack these and with all the fat lodged in their heads, only use fatlogic.

Also hilarious is they want everyone to compliment them for being "brave", yet the first words out of their mouth when they see someone that's actually healthy is "skinny bitch".
