Yeah. It makes a good first impression on me, but over time there are obvious problems. They totally omitted any hall of fame or other records of previous game scores. They show your score at the end of the game, but it's inaccessible after that. For some reason you can now name units after promotion level 2, but can't rename cities. You can no longer puppet cities.
A lot of the new features are either bad or annoying. Leaders spam useless messages and cutscenes far too often. Pedro from Brazil kept telling me to imagine how great the world is with his scientists, for example.
The SJW elements are not even subtle. Africans somehow are more cultured than even European civs. Obscure women leaders replace legendary and more qualified men. Too many other pervasive SJW elements to mention.

I thought it was my fault I couldn't rename cities. The intel reports are annoying as well.
I didn't think much of the women leaders because I figured it's number 6 and that they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for leaders.
Haven't bothered to get too deep into the cultures.
Can you change the view to be more of a board? The game gets pretty crowded, quickly.

The only changed view I know of is the strategic view you can toggle near the minimap. Some things are hidden it seems. Took ages to realize you had to click the unit's name on the HUD to get your military overview/unit list.

Thanks for posting. My gaming budget amounts to maybe ~$200 a year. I've been wanting Total Warhammer since It was announced, but dat price tag tho... So when Civ 6 popped up, I've been thinking about it.
I never played 5 and enjoyed 4 more than 3, mostly for the automation but never play past Noble and never got into he Corporatikns (though spying is fun). I still play it on occasion and even enjoyed Colonization, despite a lot of hate.
I really want Civ 6, but $60 on a casual game I'll on play a hundred hours is steep.... Civ 4 (all expansions) I probably have north of 1,000.
