This decision is likely to be overturned when it reaches EU courts.

1) I'm Estonian.

2) I have been active user of delfi.ee for decades, from the start

3) I still remember this discussion.

In my opinion all that case was biggest pile of bullshit I have ever witnessed. Yes, there were comments that were out of line, but there was reason for that.

1) Every year when possible ice-roads from main-land to islands are created.

2) Of course local shipping oligarh loses some profit out of that, people are not using his ships

3) "Accidentically" one of his ships is mishandled and it just happens that human mistake causes ice-road destruction

Up to this, its believable. I mean accidents do happen.BUT, when it happens EVERY SINGLE FKN TIME there is ice-road, people get little bit cranky, things get heated and insults are starting to flow. Let's face it there is no other option for regular Estonian to vent his steam. Our courts are way too expensive and there is no proof. It's perfectly believable that ships can destroy ice-road every time it is made. Human mistakes happen.

In the start this issue was not about free speech at all. In the beginning it was all about oligarchs right to **** regular people when he wants to. Of course if he now sues voat.co You will lose, so consider well maybe you should moderate my post away.

This is an article from 2013 when the ECtHR first ruled that there was no art. 10 violation. It's funny you'd post this now, as this case was taken to the Grand Chamber and they have judged today, confirming the earlier judgement: http://hudoc.echr.coe.int/sites/eng/Pages/search.aspx#{"sort":["kpdate Descending"],"documentcollectionid2":["JUDGMENTS"],"itemid":["001-155105"]}

The url links to the official ECtHR website, It's safe. The judgement confirms the outcome and reasoning from the first judgement.
