This is what happens when you try to argue that there are no losers and give out participation trophies. Not everyone can be a winner, because if everyone is, no one is. Being thin and fit is objectively better. It's important to have standards for achievements in order to give value to work. And that is of course ignoring the simple reaction we all have to how much butter the thin model looks.

You realize this is satire, right? Taking stabs at fat complacency and overweight models being "beautiful" and "perfect" and all that?

I think the article is a great shitlording piece.

Maybe not. Clickhole is a parody of Buzzfeed.

just wanna say that although this article is great and all, it's supposed to be satire. Adriana Lettieri doesn't exist and a reverse image search for the fatty or the shitlady would yield no results other than generic stock photo images ("plus size model stock photo"; "beautiful smiling lady stock photo). heck! even googling "Adriana Lettieri" doesn't yield any results

Yes? We know because it's on Clickhole. Everything on there is fake and generally pretty funny.

Thanks. I understood it was satire, but didn't realise that everything was fake, and got a bit dumbfounded when I googled her name. Norwegian here, I had never heard of this site before :)

"She was perfect before..." No, no she wasn't, SHE WAS FAT! Plus size is NEVER perfect. She looks hot now but I'm afraid what might be under those clothes. Oops, my bad, if she's perfect I guess her stretch marks are perfect too! Think about it, you get marks on your skin from gaining weight. Your skin actually tears because you've "stretched" it further than it was ever meant to stretch. Shouldn't that be a sign that maybe things have gone too far? "I gained so much weight so fast that my skin actually tore to accommodate my new blubber! But I'm HEALTHY AT EVERY SIZE!"

Instead of “fit to fat”, this one is “fat to fit”. The “before” shot looks like the typical “after” shot and the “after” shot looks like the typical “before” shot. I wish there were more transitional cases like this one. Maybe someday (?) <sigh>...

Here's what's missing: Aside from being 'perfect' at 228 (fucking 30lbs more than me), she woke up and realized something had to change.

She understands it's unhealthy to be fat, it's uncomfortable to be fat, it's hurtful, no-one likes you (outside the circle-jerk haes, which demands you gain another 100. Then another), you can do normal tasks, you can't find decent clothes to wear, you have no stamina, and relationships are for shit.

At least clickhole had it right. After she dropped 100, she was beautiful.

Whoever that girl is on the right is so beautiful. Even without the contrasting pig to the left.

Jesus christ, they don't even look like the same person. Amazing what a little self care will do for you.

They're probably not the same person. Adriana Lettieri doesn't exist.

Everyone here knows that Clickhole is satire, right?

I never heard of it before.

But the article is clever, so I was able to tell that something was abnormal right away.
