I'm still using reddit too- it still has the bigger community, but I'll be here once in a while. This reminds me a lot of using Mara v. Neopets. Anyone remember that? No? Okay.

I never left reddit completely. Several sub-reddits (e.g., photography) have better links and discussions than voat. But as the voat subverses have bulked up, I've found the balance of my time shifting to voat.
right now the site is kinda functional, so I'm spending some time over there simply because it works (in the technical sense) and there are some subreddits that haven't been created over here yet (and I don't really have the desire to be the top mod of any subverse and everything that entails). once things really get going over here and a decent android app developed (the ones here now are beta-like to the point of being just out of alpha in my opinion) I'll be over here more.

I'd be lying if I said I'd never visit reddit. It's a tool like any other, I still find interesting things there and not everyone is a safe space, hug box enforcer. I will however not support reddit financially, either with reddit gold or ad revenue. When and if they change their hypocritical policies I may go back more often, but voat has a lot of potential and I hope it's a viable alternative in the long run.

Well, yeah, I'll stay here, I have this choice username. Also up/downvoat counters are pretty cool
Honestly once that other website started nuking certain communities, all of the others are operating with their consent. I don't want to be on a website that won't allow /r/fatpeoplehate but allows /r/cutefemalecorpses
