It would depend on how quickly the Earths surface cooled without an external heat source. Basically if you don't live near an active geothermal zone you be pretty much fucked depending how quickly everything freezes over.

First Thing I'd do though, if I really wanted to tough things out, would be to hit every drug store/vitamin shop and stock up on as much vitamin D/D3 as possible. People are gonna start going batshit crazy with no sun

Diesel, ammo, canned food, sun lamps, seedlings, underground more or less in that order. Wouldn't matter though as the atmosphere would drop to the frozen ground as ice crystals soon enough anyway.

I conveniently locate a Vortonius Klarg Epta Phase 4 scout ship that I just happened to chance across conveniently and using a very intuitive set of controls that surely anyone could figure out how to use and relocate back to the planet Epta which conveniently has a new youthful sun to replace its dying one. Strange coincidence that.

Promptly freeze to death as the planet hurtles towards the nearest gravitationally relevant object.

Go underground, because the heat from the Earth's core is the only major source that we are going to have.

Without the sun there will be no solar power, which means that fossil fuels will take on a renewed importance. On the bright side, the environment will be dying anyway so we can burn as much as we want for power and heat.

Food would quickly become an issue without sunlight to grow the plants, so massive underground farms with growing lamps will be needed in order to produce enough...produce. Animals will be difficult too, because livestock require plants to eat. Moving this whole operation underground will be time-consuming and difficult. I predict that most deaths will come from starvation as food runs out and this operation is not completed.

Water shouldn't be an issue. There are large reserves underground, and once the planet starts to get cold the now and ice can be used.

Air quality underground will probably be bad. I'm imagining something like Metro 2033 overall here.

Well, if sun dissapears, then what will be holding planets in orbit? We will just freeze, the atmosphere will change/dissapear, the earth will change just to dead floating rock in space...so pretty much the end for EVERYONE.
