Good on you, Alpha, for doing the right thing and pointing out the actual facts. Hillary is a corrupt asshat and hopefully she'll wind up where she deserves, but buying into crap like in that thread just weakens all the other arguments against her.

My point exactly. Just like Obama: I don't like him, but it gets me really mad with all the birther or secret muslim shit... he's given us enough fuel to burn him, we don't need this other shit watering it all down.

I like to think I know what the Alt-Right is, but a lot of people have tried to define it and they always get shot down, so can anyone really know what it stands for? It seems to be a movement that is semi-fluid in purpose and definition.
The problem with not taking the high road is that there are definite legitimate points against Hillary, but looping in these wack conspiracies waters them all down, because if you can disprove this one, then it opens all of them to wiggle room. Just like people were saying about this debate, there are a few very strong points that should continually be hammered on instead of reaching for new ones.
As far as my point, I just find it funny that you have two very very right wing people in the thread I linked and one has chosen to say "Hey, look, we hate Clinton, but common, that's obviously a mic pack, let's choose our battles better" and, just like a SJW that doesn't virtue signal hard enough, he's now getting attacked as a shill. Why would anyone want to stay associated with a group that's going to do that to you? It's one of the big reasons a lot of liberals like me are distancing ourselves from the dems/left wing because the people there are rabid.

Ummm @AlphaWookie is in no way a liberal.

I know, that's why it's so funny that other alt-right users are calling him one because he bucked the narrative to speak the truth.

I am very far right and you see me berate Drumpfstein. That's not because I'm a liberal, it's because, like all politicians, he's in it for himself and family.

I'm just reading more and more and to watch some of these guys call @alphawookie, of all users, a leftie hillary shill is just.... dear god, the snake is eating itself.
Maybe this will be a nice wakeup call to others that, instead of pouncing on others when they're trying to bring facts to the chaos, we should stop, evaluate and discuss. I don't have much of for that, but I would never have guessed to see a discussion like this happening.

Not at all, I point it out regularly. I just love that even the deepest of the far right are getting turned on when they try to inject facts into the circle jerk

I think he got it off of /pol, they were going nuts over it too

Well, the difference from the typical sjw controlled space is you are still free to make your case and you most likely won't be banned or blocked for it unless you are dealing with a particularly petty person.
For what it's worth, I'm a liberal, but I'm also 100% against Hillary Clinton and the DNC. I agree with you that the evidence supporting that conspiracy is pretty weak or non-existent. I think people on both sides are guilty of discourse gaming, like trying to do an end run around the discussion instead of keeping it simple and letting the core political ideas fight it out.
[–] iamjanesleftnipple [S] 1 point 4 points 5 points (+5|-1) ago
I was more going for the idea that the typical SJWs will try to out-whatever each other... prove they're more sensitive, more-non-appropriating, etc from their peers and, god forbid you stick up for something even slightly not SJW, then they go after you full force.
In this case, Alpha tried to bring actual facts and logic and he's getting the downvoat hammer that is so often employed against anyone that doesn't go full in for the "God emperor Trump/Hillary is Satan" narrative.
That being said, I too am a classic liberal, but I want Hillary behind bars at the least, but there is plenty of stuff to use against her instead of making stuff up.

Ah, ok. Yeah I misunderstood your point. There've been a couple times where I was downvoted for similar reasons and usually I just shrug it off and don't sweat it because I can take the hit. If I figure there's room to make my case a bit better I might reply and get downvoted again but I'm not that worried about my modest collection of internet points. At least, so long as I'm not the target of a witchhunt where I essentially get nuked into oblivion and can't vote and post like a normal person.
I know I shouldn't speak in generalities and blah blah but it seems like it is a thing with the left where they don't like to be around people with conflicting ideas. That's why they're so obsessed with safe spaces. Then here on voat a lot of times people will just get discouraged from a downvote and the plethora of pro-Trump and racist posts and I kind of get how the sheer volume of that stuff makes it seem kind of daunting. And even I just kind kind of filter it out anymore but in the back of my head I feel like if people aren't actively engaging those people in debate and calling them out, taking the downvotes, it's just going to get worse here and more one-sided.
