If as a studio, you don't suck dick to gaming media, you don't get coverage and you go under unless you are extraordinarily lucky with circumstances. Gaming journalists give preference in coverage and favorable reviews to their friends because they're unprofessional twats. Media will not report negatively on media, so they decided gamergate is an attack on women. Death threats, women in games must be protected, all gamers are misogynists, oh noes! When I spoke up as 10 year veteran in games, I was just told that I'm an internalized misogynist. That was fun.

Np. I think it's also telling that the girls who claim harassment and death threats are almost all fat fucks or fat sympathizers. I personally know one of the girls who was "driven out of her house for her own safety." Bitch is a perpetual liar and she kicked my friend's cat because she's a fucking lunatic cunt.

Which part are you confused on? The gaming journalist community as a whole literally schemed together in their email lists to decide the narrative and then pushed it over and over to cover up what the initial uproar was about and blacklisted anyone who would not play ball. They controlled the narrative and now successfully turned gamergate into a war on women. Mainstream media likes that story better so they ran with it and gave voice to these idiots. CNN doesn't give 2 shits about nepotism in games, but misogny is a hot topic and that's how cat kicker ended up in national television. Congrats, Gamergate is now about misogny and a full on hate group. Not too unlike how Time magazine reported on FPH and repeatedly inserted false connection with pedophiles in the same article, quoting lies from ex Fattit employees. FPH is not a haven for closeted pedophiles, but that is what America read in that cover article about the worst trolls in America and hate culture.
