Now that is a weird request. Seinfeld was a show "about nothing"--so if you didn't care about a grade, a blank sheet would be perfect.

But... everyday life was its real topic. Granted, the people the actors played were odd, but maybe compare some people you know with characters in Seinfeld, and their oddness?

Write about a funny moment in your life.

Finish it with how by you telling a mundane story from your life kept the reader interested by making it believable and/or relate-able, that not only was that the meaning behind Seinfeld but also undone in the history of television.

Ask yourself this: Would Seinfeld have worked in 1970's (along side MASH, Happy Days, Archie Bunker)? How about the 80's? Were they ready for Seinfeld? Yes, I know season 1 started in '89 but it was low ratings and almost not picked up. I think Seinfeld is a reflection of the 90's and was, in some way, a reflection of what America was about then. What other shows were successful at that time (dramas? sitcoms? news? reality?) Would Seinfeld be as popular today as it was 20 yrs ago?

Focus on Kramer. He knew how to live life on Kramer's terms.
