Internally, windows 8 and 10 are very good OSs with a lot of 'under the hood' improvements (or so i've heard).
But I just cannot get past the stupid GUI.
I have a 4k monitor, but windows insists on opening apps fullscreen. So originally (before I changed the default image application), opening up an image would consume my entire monitor, even if it was only 128x128. Also, windows' default image viewer is crap (it would seriously take like 4 seconds to load). All because it assumes I'm on a tablet.
It's funny trying to preview a small image.

Solution: Don't fucking use that trash OS

That usually works out for me, but there was a windows game that I wanted to play, and I've not had much luck getting steam to work with wine.

My gaming PC is still on windows 8.1. So, same. Kind of sucks.
