If she wants a game where no violance is needed to win she should just play Postal 2 and see how she likes it...

Wu should make a game about acting school and call it: "An Act Of Desperation!"

The thing about violence is that it plays on the very first of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, and as such, it is the most effective way of generating immediate immersion and need on behalf of the player. Sexuality would be the second need. Could you make a game about surviving and/or fucking people that didn't rely on violence? Maybe. Some survival horror games don't have the player committing acts of violence, such as Fatal Frame, but violence generally needs to be in the setting in order to truly raise the stakes. There are also dating sims, but I've never been interested in those, and they play out a lot as "solve the puzzle to get hentai" from what I understand.

Whenever there are aspects of a game that involve helping people non-violently, I do usually take part in them. The one that comes to mind is Dark Cloud, which had a mini game where you had to rebuild all these towns in order to get all of the people to live near water, or far away from that guy they don't like, or with at least six trees around them, until everyone was happy.

Bethesda likes making fighting games because they are fun. If you hate those types of games go find a Barbie game to play. Leave your stupid comments to yourself.
