Not a sports person myself, but my mom used to be massively into football and has basically stopped watching this season because she hates that the teams are getting political.

I feel personally attacked right now. I haven't felt this much disrespect in my whole life.

How healthy is clowney? JJ? whats the secondary looking like this year? I moved to Seattle area and they don't like to cover Texans games, if I manage to catch the game at all considering morning games start earlier than I like to wake up on weekends

I know, seems like at start of the season we're looking good, like we might have a super season right? then along comes that 4th week loss to the patriots or the fucking colts. then it will be a long arduous path as we win 1 of three if we're lucky breaking a .5 win ratio at the seasons end. maybe they will make the playoffs but knowing the teams past, we will the lose to the fucking jaguars with a hail mary last play of the game.... its fucking happened more times than Id like to admit. Personally I'd like to see my two favorite teams, sea hawks and Texans make it all the way to the Superbowl Sunday but that will never fucking happen.

Fuck it, they can do what they want, it's not like they're influencing my opinion. My mind is made up. It is entertaining, so I watch

It's a good time to start watching hockey! Only white men in the ring.

Baseball too...from what I've heard. My friends tell me to watch baseball after they hear my rant on the NFL... They say it's better than it used to be. Maybe I'll watch the World Series.

Fuck football! I went to school in green bay, the dark, pulsating heart of packerstan. And I moved there one day too late to vote against paying for the new stadium. Why the fuck should the people of the city buy them a place to throw a ball around in? Let the fans pay for it through admissions. Let the overpaid oafs that spend their lives chucking a ball around in between concussions pay for the damn stadium. quit picking my pocket.

Fucking football cult.

The hilarious thing about that vote was that there was a referendum at about the same time to increase funding for the school system (or something to that effect, I was way too young to vote or to know precisely), which didn't pass.

That made the "tell them you voted yes" signs on one of their buildings, featuring some kids, all the more ironic.

No taxpayer funded anything is ever economically beneficial, unless it's a necessity, like roads. Every time they do a stadium/economic cost-benefit analysis, it has a negative effect.

Which pisses me off even more about these players bc their salaries would not be anything approaching what they are now w/o having that. High end welfare recipients, just like their common brethren.

those venues for the olympics are multipurpose though, and could concievably be used by other parties after the olympics. The packers stadium is just for the packers. Any "economic benefit" is also being weighed against the fact that when there's a game on, Highway 41 leading into/out of green bay becomes a nightmare parking lot if you're going with the flow of fans. I'd take a packer-less economy if it meant I didn't have to sit in traffic.

It isn't like we have a problem with cops and agents engaging in unprovoked killings. Right?

Football is a great team game but yeah, pretty much niggers have ruined it. It involves so much planning with x's and o's, the timing, the sudden burst of activity after the snap. Everybody has job to do. Watching to see if the play evolves. But man when they show the players pics, especially 4-3-4 on defense, all you see is a bunch of fucking niggers. That gets old. Then you think of how much money these niggers make and how easy they had it throughout school. Then you see a shit load of commercials, you can't help but think, man alive this all about selling shit and we're the suckers being sold this bill of goods.

Then you got stadiums like in St. Louis that taxpayers are still on the hook for and they don't even have a team anymore. Always selling to the poor dumb common man for the rich man to keep on living the good life.

Then you see stupid niggers protesting niggers getting killed by the po-po who are just trying to not get killed by these niggers. Rich football niggers protesting about themselves being oppressed and hating the country -- flag, anthem, same thing -- that made them rich. Yeah it gets old. It wears on you.

The best thing about football and basketball is that it segregates niggers into those two sports and it lets non-niggers play other sports with very few niggers. Which is nice because you can watch sports without niggers doing their monkey bullshit.
