It's a reaction to the comprehensive failure of leftism. The left has controlled the discourse, the culture, the institutions and the political structure in this country for at least a century. The end result: mediocrity, poverty, degeneracy, dependency, constant social unrest, porous borders, jobs leaving the country, and corruption.
If Trump wins, it's a sign that the public is now fed up with the left and their bullshit and are ready to start solving the problems we face.

If Trump wins, it will be because the Democratic Party locked down the nomination for their favourite corporate candidate and ignored the grassroots public support for another nominee. If the DNC wasn't completely in the pocket of mega corporations, they would have had a sure-fire win against the Republican nominee. But the powerful do not want change. They can't actually unleash the full support of the people organized under a coherent set of policies or the people would push for changes that are counter to the corporate interest. So the Clinton dynasty continues, despite Hillary being the embodiment of corruption in America. As for Trump, I don't understand how people can take him seriously. I wouldn't be surprised if he's just part of the show, brought to you by: AMERICAN CORPORATE INTERESTS. Two sides of the same coin, as it were. You didn't think Trump was legit right? Americans are being played for the fools they are.

Trump represents a populist movement in America. He is rebranding the old GOP into a new Republican party dragging the old GOPers kicking and screaming all the way. Hillary represents the Washington business as usual (everything's for sale if you got the money) so screw the people.

My theory is simple: Trump's opposition is god-awful and proven to be corrupt, and a lot of people would prefer to gamble on a wildcard rather then to hedge on a guaranteed shit sandwich. The Donald can basically lean back and watch as Hillary scares voters away crooked action by crooked actoon.
Trump would have a harder time to sell on the moderates and the middle if the DNC had picked Sanders.
It is laughable how hard the article tries to make the point that America wants no woman president. Female heads of state have been a thing now for decades in the west (Thatcher, Merkel), and I think if a competent contender appeared a vagoo would be no hindrance at all. For example, I reckon Condoleeza Rice would have had a serious shot at getting nominated if she had run despite being both black and female.

Hillary died on 9/11 and the iOS 10 upgrade short circuits robot Hillary mid debate.
