The majority of people in the US have lost confidence in the fed gov. And don't trust politicians as far as you could throw the average bastard. Trump being an outsider and someone who's actually worked for a living and built something. Unlike Hillary who's never had anything but a government job and until Bill retired as President had never owned a house and lived in the most expensive "public" housing taxpayers money could buy.

My theory is simple: Trump's opposition is god-awful and proven to be corrupt, and a lot of people would prefer to gamble on a wildcard rather then to hedge on a guaranteed shit sandwich. The Donald can basically lean back and watch as Hillary scares voters away crooked action by crooked actoon.
Trump would have a harder time to sell on the moderates and the middle if the DNC had picked Sanders.
It is laughable how hard the article tries to make the point that America wants no woman president. Female heads of state have been a thing now for decades in the west (Thatcher, Merkel), and I think if a competent contender appeared a vagoo would be no hindrance at all. For example, I reckon Condoleeza Rice would have had a serious shot at getting nominated if she had run despite being both black and female.

In my mind not because of his positions, but for acting as a channel for common sentiment.
People are sick of PC bullshit. People are sick of being called racist for no reason when making non racial criticisms.
Trump acted like a mirror and reflected that.
Also bikers for Trump scaring the leftist pansies into shitting their pants and staying home for the rnc meetup.

Millions of people are going to VOTE TRUMP simply to extend a middle-finger to ((( the media ))), and ((( the political elite ))).
It's most likely a combination of his positions that will push him over the top: Public Debt, Political Corruption, "PC Culture", Never Ending Wars, Illegal Immigration, and Anti-American "Free Trade Deals" all viewed as being geared against the average U.S. Citizen.

It's a reaction to the comprehensive failure of leftism. The left has controlled the discourse, the culture, the institutions and the political structure in this country for at least a century. The end result: mediocrity, poverty, degeneracy, dependency, constant social unrest, porous borders, jobs leaving the country, and corruption.
If Trump wins, it's a sign that the public is now fed up with the left and their bullshit and are ready to start solving the problems we face.
