Gotta spank the population then. The primary reason for this is that the customerbase doesn't care. If people cared enough to make this a buy criteria it would stop.

They people do care. But we also have lives outside of video cards. Don't have time to be wasting fighting some company. Faster to just string em up a tree, don't ask questions, and make an example out of them.

If people cared facebook wouldn't be soo big, win10 wouldn't have so many users, ... there is a part of the population that cares but it's not the majority.
