Best thing - since I spent most of my time on the Internet and generally in an English speaking environment, the classes were relatively easy for me
The bad side (I wouldn't necessarily call it the worst) - we were taught British English but since I learned most of my English off the Internet (mostly American English) there some problems from time to time. Nothing major but still.
Another negative side was the difference in punctuation in my native language and the English language. The result of that is I have pretty much no idea how or when to use commas in English.

Best thing: I learned English
Worst thing: I had to learn English
