Are promotion and product quality always inversely proportional? Coca-Cola spends the most on advertising among all cola drinks, does that make it the worst?

No, that's not what I'm talking about. He is supporting his arguments by talking about his "Pulitzer worthy" writing. Like we're supposed to believe him because of his reputation which he hasn't earned yet. He hasn't actually won a Pulitzer, therefore be cannot be Pulitzer worthy. (He has misled people in some of his articles, making him tabloid worthy as well.)

He brings up some good evidence in this article then makes a lot of conjecture. And then leads the reader to believe that he has reputable writing instead of providing facts.

No, he's never said his stories hold up because they're Pulitzer-worthy. It's the exact reverse. They're Pulitzer-worthy because they hold up and represent difficult, courageous journalism.
