I'll use slimgur here, but a part of me wants to use imgur on reddit just to spite them.

I think this would be a good move since I heard they have the same investors as that "other" site
It'd be great if Imgur links weren't allowed on Voat. They're a bunch of cry baby hamplanets who will accept the most vile and repulsive of photos on their server, such as gore/death/illegal/fatties, but if you link it to a sub where, god forbid, someone points out that they are living an unhealthy lifestyle, then its supremely offensive and needs to be banned. Slimgur has been my go to recently.

Absolutely, I deleted all my imgur stuff when they started deleting the FPH images. The imgur community sucks too!

Hi, I'm the creator of Slimgur, I created it as a response to the censorship of FPH content on imgur. I'm personally fronting all the server costs right now. There is quite a bit of storage space left before we have to worry about running out of space.
Here are some stats on the site's traffic: http://slimgur.com/image/85 Daily, we have been doing about 35 000 unique visitors per day visiting 100 000 pages. With the exception of the first day when a link was on the front page of reddit.
The site has only been around for 4 days so how things are going to be funded going forward is something I haven't really figured out yet. Basically there is advertising and donations, a donation button is going up tonight hopefully and we will see if the site can continue on donations alone. There is a very supportive community here but if the donation route doesn't work out, there is advertising. I would prefer to promote fellow shitlords if they have companies they would like to promote, otherwise google adsense or another third party advertising company works as a final resort.

Was slimgur created by some shitlords from FPH?

Yes. It was a direct response when Imgur started to remove/delete pics hosted on Imgur that were posted to r/FPH. So people were looking for alternative image hosting sites and someone made Slimgur.
I think that for a short while, Reddit even began to bot block Slimgur from showing up on Reddit but IDK much about the drama that went along with that.

What happened to Veuwer? I thought that it was the alternate, but I haven't been around much since this whole FPH thing exploded.
