You must not be tall like me. "IF YOU EVER GET TO BE 125 lbs I WILL DUMP YOU." Well jokes on you bud cuz that would make me underweight.

I have a thyroid issue too, but it's hyper. I hate the "OMG THAT'S WHY YOU ARE SKINNY!!!" comments once someone finds out.

No, cunt. I was actually borderline overweight when I found out. You can gain or lose weight with either cundishun but not enough to warrant your fat ass.

Fats are going to avoid being around you like you're a ranchless broccoli. They hate having their excuses exposed.

What exactly does it do and how does it affect you? I would like a non fat to explain it to me because I've heard way too many fats use it as a cundishun excuse.

Your thyroid hormones are actually really important. They do too many things to reply here, but the actions pertinent to weight are metabolism, protein synthesis, and efficient use of your macros and micros. They also keep you warm, therefore my comment, I've been wearing a wool sweater anywhere the AC is set lower than 78. My metabolism is definitely slower. I'm 5 months pregnant and do about 1700 calories a day and am gaining weight the last 2 months faster than I would like to, 14 lbs (total this pregnancy) vs the 10 I was trying to calculate on MFP. My maintainence is usually about 1400/1500. Luckily, it's the easiest fix ever. A daily pill and you're totally fine. Now that I know what's going on I can adjust my diet a little too. It's hard to know what's real weight gain and what's bloating when you are pregnant, but now that I'm aware of the problem I can fix it. Hope this was the answer you were looking for!

This! It'll trigger the hams so hard when they see you can stay slim despite hypothyroidism.

You should use it as an excuse, but in reverse.

"Oh I can't gain weight, I have hyperthyroidism :( No matter how many burgers I eat I stay slim. You're lucky you don't have this condition. I wish I could be curvy..."

Subtle shitlording where it's innocent enough but their own shame and internal guilt triggers them is so much more satisfying.

My test is "how would this affect a thin woman? " if a normal human being wouldn't be affected or maybe even be sympathetic, it's my preferred style.

What you suggest would elicit sympathy from a normal person... But it would trigger a fat.
