When I was a kid I used to love playing the Pokemon games on GBC, Sonic on the Dreamcast, and Ms. Pacman on the arcade machine at my uncle's bar. Pacman was fucking awesome.

Also, assuming if by "gaming," you're including all gaming, and not just video games, I loved yu-gi-oh and pinball. It's a shame that games of the non-video variety don't get as much attention now.

I have an original pong game that my dad gave me. It sucks because someone left batteries in it and stored it in the basement for years, so it's corroded and doesn't work. I've held on to it anyways. Maybe someday I'd get motivated enough to try and fix it.

We had a restaurant in my town that had a floor model pacman game. It was called Gentleman Jim's, I remember going there for black olive and cheese pizza and playing pacman.

Believe it or not that actually describes two different Atari 2600 games. It could have been Towering Inferno or Fire Fighter.

Pretty sure it was in 1981, went on vacation to Disney World (going from Oklahoma) at our hotel two girls I had a crush on were standing in-front of this strange looking box and randomly hitting the bottom of it with their flip-flops. I finally worked up the courage to walk up to them and they let me play what was my first encounter with Pacman. I had no idea what to do and didn't get when I should run from the ghosts and when I should chase them. The hitting with the flip-flops was I guess my first encounter with a 'hack' because instead of dropping quarters the girls had figured out that by hitting it they would get free games. I was maybe 8 at the time, and I did score a 'bunt' (not sure if that's a thing) but I got to hold hands with one of them while we watched her friend play. First time with a game and my first holding hands. Greatest vacation ever!

Playing Super Mario World at my neighbor's house. I could never beat Donut Plains 2 for some reason, and would insist on playing it over and over, good times.

The first game I actually owned for a console was Super Mario 64, although I probably played some PC games before that which I no longer remember

One of the first games I actually bought for myself was Super Mario 64 DS. I played the hell out of that game. Must have completed it four or five times.

The earliest game I recall playing is 007: Nightfire on a PC. I distinctly remember telling my friends about it and how realistic it looks like. "Almost as it is a movie", I remember saying.

I had the cassette tape setup with my TRS-80. I remember when we got a 5.25" drive and that was the shit.
